                                            [0] => Introduction: Telenursing represents an emerging strategy to strengthen health systems and respond to the current needs of populations.
Objective: To analyze the available evidence on telenursing in Latin America with a focus on applicability to the Salvadoran context.
Methods: A systematic literature review was conducted, following the recommendations of the PRISMA guidelines, in PubMed, LILACS, Google Scholar, and EBSCO databases during February 2025. The search strategy included the descriptors “Telenursing” OR “tele nursing” AND (“El Salvador” OR “Latin America” OR “developing countries”) AND (“implementation” OR “challenges” OR “opportunities”), for the period between 2015 and 2025. Only systematic reviews in Spanish and English, focused on the adult population, that addressed the application of telenursing as a complement to health care were considered.
Results: Seven studies were selected that emphasize how telenursing improves the continuity of patient care, reduces hospitalizations, increases patient satisfaction, and complements traditional health services. The findings are grouped into three main categories: primary care, chronic disease management, and care in emergency situations.
Conclusions: Telenursing is an effective and complementary tool in healthcare, especially in contexts where accessibility is limited. However, challenges related to technological infrastructure and the importance of nursing staff training for its implementation have been identified.
                                            [1] => Introducción: La telenfermería representa una estrategia emergente para fortalecer los sistemas de salud y responder a las necesidades actuales de las poblaciones. 
Objetivo: Analizar la evidencia disponible sobre la telenfermería en América Latina con un enfoque en su aplicabilidad al contexto salvadoreño.
Métodos: Se realizó una revisión sistemática de la literatura, siguiendo las recomendaciones de la guía PRISMA, en las bases de datos PubMed, LILACS, Google Académico y EBSCO, durante el mes de febrero de 2025. La estrategia de búsqueda incluyó los descriptores “Telenfermería” OR “tele nursing” AND (“El Salvador” OR “América Latina” OR “países en desarrollo”) AND (“implementación” OR “desafíos” OR “oportunidades”), en el período comprendido entre 2015 y 2025. Solo se consideraron revisiones sistemáticas en español e inglés, centradas en la población adulta, que abordaron la aplicación de la telenfermería como complemento de la atención en salud. 
Resultados: Se seleccionaron siete estudios que enfatizan en cómo la telenfermería mejora la continuidad del cuidado de los pacientes, reduce hospitalizaciones, aumenta la satisfacción del paciente, y complementa los servicios tradicionales de salud. Los hallazgos se agrupan en tres categorías principales: atención primaria, manejo de enfermedades crónicas y cuidado en situaciones de emergencia.  
Conclusiones: La telenfermería constituye una herramienta eficaz y complementaria en la atención en salud, especialmente en contextos donde la accesibilidad es limitada. Sin embargo, se identifican desafíos relacionados con la infraestructura tecnológica y la importancia de la capacitación del personal de enfermería para su implementación.
