                                            [1] => Información, cultura y sociedad cumple diez años de existencia y el autor reflexiona sobre los procesos que la han posicionado como una publicación científica, especializada en Bibliotecología/Ciencia de la Información. Esta ubicación se ha visto reforzada por la aplicación de estrictos controles académicos, ejercidos tanto por los editores de la revista como por el Consejo Editor de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Ambas instancias posibilitan un cruce fructífero entre el adentro y el afuera de la disciplina. Se consideran también los fines últimos de una publicación de este tipo en la Argentina y la dimensión existencial que la escritura le brinda a la investigación y al ejercicio profesional. Por fin, el autor se explaya sobre la búsqueda de una identidad bibliotecológica nacional y sobre la trascendencia del debate de ideas.
