                                            [1] => Este artigo explora a influência das ideias de Paulo Freire na Educação Museal, destacando sua relevância para o desenvolvimento social e a Educação Permanente nos museus. A pesquisa aborda três questões centrais: o contexto que motivou os debates sobre museus como agentes de transformação social, as contribuições de Freire para a educação e a museologia, e o impacto de suas ideias na educação museal. Através de levantamento bibliográfico e análise documental, investiga-se como a filosofia de Freire dialoga com os debates da Mesa-Redonda de Santiago (Chile, 1972) e suas implicações para práticas museológicas e políticas públicas. O estudo visa ampliar o entendimento sobre o papel dos museus como espaços formativos, integrando a Pedagogia Museal e valorizando a educação como ferramenta de constituição identitária e cidadã. Esse enfoque é essencial para aprimorar estratégias educacionais em contextos museológicos, reforçando a importância do museu nas dinâmicas sociais, culturais e políticas.
