                                            [0] => Bereavement can be understood as a profound feeling of sorrow and sadness experienced by individuals following the death of someone close and significant in their lives. In some cases, this is a particularly painful experience, as mourners may struggle to reach a stage of acceptance due to the emotional rupture caused by the loss. This can lead to intense feelings of distress and anguish. Given the sensitive nature of grief and its direct impact on emotional well-being, having a support network is essential. However, in some situations, seeking psychological support from mental health professionals becomes necessary.Reading can serve as a valuable coping mechanism during the grieving process, as it allows individuals to temporarily redirect their attention from the pain of loss and begin to reframe their emotions. In this context, bibliotherapy emerges as a supportive strategy for addressing grief.This study aimed to identify texts considered therapeutic in the grieving process, as recommended by Brazilian authors who have published on bibliotherapy within the field of Information Science. The research follows a qualitative approach, is basic in nature, and has an exploratory objective. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire, and a literature review was carried out based on texts authored by scholars identified in the Brazilian Information Science Database (BRAPCI).The findings indicate that, although the authors did not specifically address the theme of grief in their publications on bibliotherapy, they did provide relevant recommendations of texts which, in their view, have therapeutic potential for use in bibliotherapy sessions with grieving individuals.
                                            [1] => O luto pode ser considerado um sentimento de profundo pesar e tristeza vivenciado após a perda de alguém significativo. Em alguns casos, torna-se um processo doloroso, marcado pela dificuldade de aceitação e pela presença de aflição e angustia. Nessas circunstâncias, contar com uma rede de apoio é essencial, e em alguns casos, buscar acompanhamento de um profissional em saúde mental. A leitura, nesse contexto, apresenta-se como um recurso de acolhimento, capaz de auxiliar na ressignificação dos sentimentos. Surge, assim, a Biblioterapia como prática de apoio ao enfrentamento do luto. Este estudo teve como objetivo realizar um levantamento de textos com potencial terapêutico indicados por autores brasileiros que publicaram sobre Biblioterapia no campo da Ciência da Informação. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, de natureza básica, com objetivo exploratório. Como procedimentos metodológicos, foram utilizados o questionário para a coleta de dados e revisão de literatura a partir dos textos dos autores identificados na Base de Dados em Ciência da Informação. Os resultados revelaram que, embora os autores da área não abordem diretamente o tema do luto em suas publicações, apresentam indicações relevantes de obras que consideram com potencial terapêutico. Essas indicações de textos podem contribuir para a prática da Biblioterapia voltada ao público enlutado, oferecendo caminhos de leitura que funcionam como suporte emocional no processo de enfrentamento da perda. Assim, o estudo evidencia lacunas a serem exploradas, mas também aponta possibilidades de uso da leitura como recurso de cuidado no âmbito da Ciência da Informação.
