                                            [0] => In this work, we aim to understand the constitution of black identities, using the media as a surface for socio-political processes, in a discursive approach to the film Selma (2014) and the social network Twitter. The film's story shows the fight that preceded the conquest of the electoral vote for black people in the USA, in 1965. In a thematic dialogue, the social network post shows the case of George Floyd, a black man who suffers police violence. We assume the theoretical-methodological assumptions of Foucault (2014), mainly notions of statement, discourse, power and subject to investigate image and sound materiality to production of meanings. We follow the archegenealogical method to select scenes and plans of identity most relevant to the Afro-decendant theme and investigate how the meanings of black body are produced today. In addition to Foucauldian studies, we rely on Davis (2016) for knowledge about race and Almeida (2020) considering structural racism.We conclude that discussions around the constitution of black identities are shaped by contemporary strategies for affirming other identity horizons in the media.
                                            [1] => Neste trabalho, objetivamos compreender a constituição das identidades negras, a partir das mídias como superfície para processos sócio-políticos, numa abordagem discursiva do filme Selma: uma luta pela igualdade (2014) e na rede social Twitter. O enredo do filme retrata a luta que antecedeu à conquista do voto eleitoral dos negros nos EUA, em 1965. Em diálogo temático, o recorte da rede social mostra o caso George Floyd, um homem negro que sofre violência policial. Assumimos os pressupostos teórico-metodológicos de Foucault (2014), principalmente as noções de enunciado, discurso, poder e sujeito para investigarmos a materialidade da imagem e do som na produção de sentidos. Seguimos o método arquegenealógico para recortar cenas e planos mais significativos para a temática da identidade afro-descendente e investigar como os sentidos de corpo negro são produzidos na atualidade. Além dos estudos foucaultianos, apoiamos em Davis (2016) para conhecimentos sobre raça e Almeida (2020) considerando o racismo estrutural. Concluímos que as discussões em torno da constituição das identidades negras são configuradas por estratégias contemporâneas de afirmação de outros horizontes identitários nas mídias.
