In this context, standards such as Dublin Core—widely adopted in platforms like DSpace—show limitations regarding the documentation of technical and preservation aspects, thus justifying the use of complementary schemas such as PREMIS. Objective: This article aims to propose a conceptual mapping between the elements of the PREMIS Object entity and the metadata available in the DSpace repository, focusing on Dublin Core fields, the original bundle, and file header data. Methodology: This is a theoretical-applied study based on document analysis of the DSpace structure, the PREMIS Data Dictionary, and technical metadata extraction practices, with exclusive focus on the Object entity. Results: The study presents a correspondence table between PREMIS Object entity elements and available DSpace data sources, demonstrating the feasibility of structuring preservation metadata packages using existing infrastructure. Conclusion: The proposed mapping provides guidance for institutions interested in incrementally adopting PREMIS, showing that much of the required data is already available within DSpace, requiring only conceptual reorganization.@en
                    [1] => Introdução: A preservação digital em repositórios institucionais exige o uso de metadados capazes de garantir a integridade, autenticidade e longevidade dos objetos digitais. Nesse contexto, padrões como Dublin Core, amplamente utilizado em plataformas como o DSpace, apresentam limitações quanto à descrição de aspectos técnicos e de preservação, o que justifica a adoção de esquemas complementares, como o PREMIS. Objetivo: O artigo tem como objetivo propor um mapeamento conceitual entre os elementos da entidade Objeto do modelo PREMIS e os metadados disponíveis no repositório DSpace, considerando especialmente os campos Dublin Core e os dados extraídos do bundle original e dos cabeçalhos dos arquivos digitais.  Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo teórico-aplicado, com base em análise documental da estrutura do DSpace, do PREMIS Data Dictionary e de práticas comuns de extração de metadados técnicos, com foco exclusivo na entidade Objeto. Resultados: O estudo apresenta um quadro de correspondência entre os elementos da entidade Objeto do PREMIS e as fontes de dados já disponíveis no DSpace, demonstrando a viabilidade de uso dos recursos existentes para estruturar pacotes de metadados de preservação. Conclusão: O mapeamento proposto pode subsidiar instituições interessadas na adoção incremental do PREMIS, ao evidenciar que grande parte dos dados necessários já está acessível nas instâncias do DSpace, bastando organizá-los conceitualmente.
