Max Headroom é um repórter virtual cuja história evidencia a história do capitalismo contemporâneo radicalizada na perspectiva futura da ficção cientifica. Vários exemplos ilustram a subsunção do trabalho cultural ao capital; como essa subsunção é sempre limitada, a serialização da produção cultural se põe nos relançamentos das edições culturais. Discute, através do método marxista, a nova mudança estrutural da esfera pública.
