The profits and disadvantages of each systems' interface and the limits and possibilities of this interfaces were discussed in the users' standpoint.
                                            [1] => Este artigo compara a consulta à base de dados bibliográficos ERIC através da Internet utilizando dois diferentes tipos de acesso, IMNW e TELNET. Para esta comparação foi realizada idêntica busca nos sistema HOLLlS e AskERIC, pertencentes respectivamente às Universidades de Harvard e Siracusa. Buscando esclarecer e orientar possíveis usuários destes sistemas, cada passo da busca bibliográfica foi ilustrado, comentado e comparado. São discutidas as vantagens e desvantagens das interfaces dos sistemas e as possibilidades e limites de cada um, tendo como referência a perspectiva do usuário que realiza a busca.
