                    [0] => This article presents the contributions of local truth commissions to scientific research. The main identified potentialities link the research presented in theses and dissertations to the final reports, to the documents used and produced, and to the work carried out by the commissions themselves. Using a quantitative-qualitative approach based on theses and dissertations available in the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations, it was possible to observe how truth commissions become sources of information for scientific research, bearing in mind that these commissions also relied on scientific research as a source for uncovering the truth about the serious human rights violations committed during the Military Dictatorship (1964-1985).@en
                    [1] => Este artigo expõe as contribuições das comissões da verdade locais para a pesquisa científica. As principais potencialidades identificadas relacionam as pesquisas apresentadas em teses e dissertações com os relatórios finais, com os documentos usados e criados e com os próprios trabalhos das comissões. Utilizando uma pesquisa quantiqualitativa usando as teses e dissertações disponíveis para consulta na Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações, foi possível perceber como as comissões da verdade se tornam fontes de informação para a pesquisa científica, lembrando que as comissões utilizaram a pesquisa científica como fonte para o esclarecimento da verdade sobre as graves violações de direitos humanos perpetradas durante a Ditadura Militar (1964-1985).@pt
