                    [0] => Existe uma complexa interação entre a circulação do conhecimento científico e as dinâmicas de plataformas online, que influenciam os modos como periódicos e seus artigos podem ser encontrados e citados. Este estudo tem como objetivo discutir os desafios das mediações sociotécnicas de plataformas como o Google e a interferência desse processo de mediação nos fluxos informacionais de periódicos científicos. Para isso, coletamos, por meio de ferramentas de web analytics, métricas de tráfego online de artigos científicos de um periódico de acesso aberto da área de Comunicação e Informação, editado em co-gestão por duas universidades brasileiras. Analisamos cinco parâmetros de audiência e, como resultados, vimos que temas específicos, associados a figuras públicas e a assuntos que costumam ter alto padrão de busca, como a pornografia, impactaram significativamente as métricas de acesso de textos do periódico em análise. Essa dinâmica de circulação só aconteceu porque a visibilidade da produção científica da revista estudada é atravessada por lógicas de ranqueamento do Google. Portanto, a influência dessa plataforma na produção do conhecimento, se coloca como uma dificuldade na busca pela soberania epistêmica, pois escancara a penetração da infraestrutura privada de uma Big Tech na visibilidade da produção científica brasileira.@pt
                    [1] => There is a complex interaction between the circulation of scientific knowledge and the dynamics of online platforms, which influence the ways in which scientific journals and their articles can be searched and cited. This study aims to discuss the challenges of the socio-technical mediations of platforms such as Google and the interference of this mediation process in the information flows of scientific journals. We used web analytics to collect online traffic metrics for scientific articles in an open-access journal in the field of Communication and Information, co-edited by two brazilian universities. We analyzed five audience parameters and, as a result, we saw that specific themes, associated with public figures and subjects that tend to have high search (trend), such as pornography, had a significant impact on the access metrics of the texts in the journal under analysis. This circulation dynamic only happened because the visibility of the scientific production of the journal studied is crossed by Google´s ranking algorithm. Therefore, the influence of this platform on the production of knowledge poses a difficulty in achieving epistemic sovereignty, as it reveals the penetration of the private infrastructure of a Big Tech into the visibility of brazilian scientific production.@en
