                    [0] => En este artículo se analiza la manera como la biblioteca y la educación  en general contribuyen a la generación de conocimiento. El trabajo se  divide en cuatro temas que juntos nos dan una idea clara de la  importancia que tiene el generar conocimientos en las bibliotecas; estos  temas abordados en el artículo son: 1.El valor del conocimiento; 2.La  biblioteca como gestora del conocimiento; 3.Las instituciones educativas  y la generación de conocimiento; y, finalmente y no por ello menos  importante: 4.Las bibliotecas como formadoras de redes de aprendizaje. -- This article analyzes how the library and the education in general  contribute to the generation of knowledge. This analysis is divided in  four items that together give as a more clear idea of how important it  is to generate knowledge at libraries; the items tackle in this article  are: 1. The value of the knowledge; 2. The library as a administrator of  knowledge; 3. The education institutions and the generation of  knowledge; and finally, but not less important, the libraries as  builders of knowledge chains.@es
