                    [0] => Open Education, aligned with the UN´s Sustainable Development Goal 4, aims to democratize education by promoting inclusive, high-quality educational resources. Open educational resources (OER), defined by UNESCO as learning materials available in the public domain or under open licenses, follow the principles of the 4Rs: Reuse, Revise, Remix, and Redistribute. In this context, institutional repositories (IRs) are essential for providing open access to materials that support teaching and research. Using an exploratory methodology of descriptive nature and a qualitative-quantitative approach, Brazilian institutions were mapped through the e-MEC Register, and 10 IRs containing "learning objects" were selected from the OpenDOAR Directory. The available resources in each IR were analyzed to identify their structure, means of distribution, and contacts with environment administrators. The analysis revealed that the concept of OER is not clearly understood by institutions, highlighting the need to consult IR managers directly to understand their perceptions. A questionnaire was developed to understand managers’ perspectives on the structure, definition, functionalities, and importance of making OER available. It was found that many materials do not meet OER criteria due to inadequate formats and a lack of institutional support and that, although familiar with OER, managers noted a lack of guidelines to ensure the inclusion and maintenance of these resources. The conclusion is that, in addition to integrating OER into repositories, it is necessary to implement policies that ensure their sustainability, thereby strengthening the democratization of knowledge.@en
                    [1] => A Educação Aberta, alinhada ao Objetivo de Desenvolvimento Sustentável 4 da ONU, visa democratizar o ensino ao promover recursos educacionais inclusivos e de qualidade. Recursos educacionais abertos (REA), definidos pela UNESCO como materiais de aprendizagem disponíveis em domínio público ou com licença aberta, seguem os princípios dos 4Rs: Reúso, Revisão, Remixagem e Redistribuição. Nesse contexto, repositórios institucionais (RI) são essenciais para o acesso aberto a materiais informacionais que apoiam ensino e pesquisa. Utilizando uma metodologia exploratória de natureza descritiva e abordagens quali-quantitativas, mapeou-se tais instituições brasileiras através do Cadastro e-MEC e selecionou-se 10 RI no Diretório OpenDOAR que continham “objetos de aprendizagem”. Analisou-se os recursos disponíveis em cada RI para identificar sua estrutura, forma de disponibilização e contatos com os responsáveis dos ambientes. A análise revelou que o conceito de REA não é percebido de forma clara pelas instituições, levando à necessidade de consultar diretamente os gestores dos RI para entender suas percepções. Para tanto, foi elaborado um questionário com o objetivo de compreender a percepção dos gestores sobre a estrutura, definição, funcionalidades e importância da disponibilização de REA. Constatou-se que muitos materiais não atendem aos critérios de REA devido a formatos inadequados e falta de suporte institucional e que, embora conheçam REA, faltam diretrizes para assegurar a inclusão e manutenção desses recursos. Conclui-se que, além de integrar REA nos repositórios, é necessário implementar políticas que garantam sua sustentabilidade, fortalecendo a democratização do conhecimento.@pt
