                    [0] => This article presents a scientific overview of research on artificial intelligence related to university libraries, which has been growing exponentially. In this context, it reports on the experience of the Central Library of PUCRS, which employed artificial intelligence as a tool for data processing and analysis during user interviews. After recording 122 interviews on research practices, the audio files were transcribed using an application based on Whisper, OpenAI´s automatic speech recognition system. The compiled textual data were then analysed using another AI from the same developer, ChatGPT 4o, to identify user preferences and propose improvements and/or innovations in the services offered by the PUCRS Library. The AI´s suggested implementations were evaluated in light of the demands highlighted in the interviews, as well as considering the services and resources already available. As a result, two actions were recommended: the creation of a training session on SciELO and the development of short videos with tips on database usage. This study contributes to future initiatives in the field, concluding that AI represents an opportunity for growth for information units, provided it is used critically and appropriately to the specific context of each institution.@en
                    [1] => Este artigo apresenta um panorama científico sobre as pesquisas em inteligência artificial relacionadas a bibliotecas universitárias, que têm crescido exponencialmente. Neste contexto, relata a experiência da Biblioteca Central da PUCRS, que utilizou inteligências artificiais como um auxílio no tratamento e análise dos dados, durante a realização de entrevistas com usuários. Após a gravação de 122 entrevistas sobre práticas de pesquisa, os áudios foram transcritos por meio de uma aplicação baseada no Whisper, sistema de reconhecimento automático de fala da OpenAI. Os dados textuais, após compilados, foram submetidos a outra IA do mesmo desenvolvedor, o ChatGPT 4o, a fim de identificar preferências dos usuários, propor melhorias e/ou inovações nos serviços oferecidos pela Biblioteca da PUCRS. As implementações sugeridas pela IA foram analisadas à luz das demandas apontadas nas entrevistas, bem como levando em consideração os serviços e recursos já disponibilizados. Como resultado, duas ações foram sugeridas: criação de um treinamento sobre o SciELO; criação de vídeos curtos sobre dicas em bases de dados. Este estudo contribui para iniciativas futuras na área, concluindo que o uso das IAs representa uma oportunidade de crescimento para as unidades de informação, desde que sejam utilizadas de maneira crítica e apropriada ao contexto específico de cada instituição.@pt
