                                            [0] => Analysis of information overload experienced by students (Instagram users) of the Information Manager Course at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG/Brazil). To achieve this goal, the following specific objectives were established: to identify the types of content consumed and produced by the students surveyed when using Instagram; to characterize the elements that may contribute to the development of information overload; and, finally, to characterize the coping strategies adopted by the students surveyed in relation to the information overload experienced. In methodological terms, the research adopted an out remotely, through a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. The results demonstrate the information overload experienced by the students surveyed and confirm that the most prominent symptoms are of a mental/emotional nature (difficulty of concentrating, mental or physical fatigue, reduced productivity, anxiety, stress, difficulty memorizing or remembering, reduced motivation for daily activities, disturbance, irritability, isolation, difficulty maintaining social relationship). Based on the analysis of these symptoms, the Information Overload Ecosystem Model (MESI) is proposed as a tool to methodological and analytical support for studies on the theme of Information Overload.
                                            [1] => Análise da sobrecarga informacional vivenciada por estudantes (usuários do Instagram) do Curso de Gestão da Informação da Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG)/Brasil. Para alcançar este objetivo, os seguintes objetivos específicos foram estabelecidos: identificar os tipos de conteúdos consumidos e produzidos pelos estudantes pesquisados ao utilizarem o Instagram; caracterizar os elementos que podem contribuir para o desenvolvimento da sobrecarga informacional e, por fim, caracterizar as estratégias de enfrentamento adotadas pelos estudantes pesquisados em relação à sobrecarga informacional vivenciada. Em termos metodológicos, a pesquisa adotou uma abordagem exploratória e quantitativa. A coleta de dados foi realizada remotamente, por meio de questionário distribuído via Google Forms. Os resultados evidenciam a sobrecarga informacional vivenciada pelos estudantes pesquisados e confirmam que os sintomas mais destacados são de ordem mental/emocional (dificuldade de concentração, fadiga mental ou física, redução da produtividade, ansiedade, estresse, dificuldade em memorizar ou lembrar, redução da motivação para atividades diárias, perturbação, irritabilidade, isolamento, dificuldade em manter relações sociais). A partir das análises destes sintomas é proposto o Modelo do Ecosistema da Sobrecarga Informacional (MESI) como ferramenta de apoio metodológico e analítico para os estudos sobre a temática da Sobrecarga Informacional e de fenômenos informacionais semelhantes.
