                    [0] => This study proposes the discussion about how Information Science (IS) can offer support to other scientific fields to improve Digital Transformation (DT) comprehension. As new technologies emerge every day and are impulsively adopted by organizations to solve problems regarding information, these implementations evolve without a needed scientific base. As the IS is an open and contributive field to promote a productive dialog with other environments, this article focus on conditions, perspectives and potential results about the DT comprehension, with a special focus over the innovative cases of the proposition of the Data Science field and the actual status of Artificial Intelligence. This approach is done evaluating the methodological principles of multidisciplinarity, interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity, all successfully practiced by IS scholars and researchers for decades, with significant results, enabling expectations to improve the understanding and domain of Digital Transformation.@en

                    [3] => O presente artigo discute as perspectivas de contribuição da Ciência da Informação (CI) para a busca contínua de definição do campo da Transformação Digital (TD). Diante da evolução expressiva dos recursos digitais e de sua difusão desordenada nos últimos anos, várias propostas circulam no ambiente de negócios sem o devido amparo do pensamento científico. Dada a abertura do campo da CI para o diálogo com outros campos do conhecimento, o artigo observa as condições, perspectivas e potenciais resultados em compreender o desenvolvimento da TD, notadamente nos eventos recentes que se referem à afirmação do campo da Ciência de Dados e das aplicações da Inteligência Artificial. A discussão neste artigo propõe avaliar os contextos metodológicos multi, inter e transdisciplinares, de prática bem-sucedida pela CI ao longo de décadas e com resultados significativos, ensejando expectativas para ampliar a compreensão e domínio dos fenômenos da Transformação Digital.@pt
