Objective: Organizational leadership and its relationship with job performance are areas of growing interest, especially in competitive environments where stress affects well-being and decision-making. This study analyzes the influence of different leadership styles on employee performance in companies in Ambato, Ecuador. Methodology: Using a cross-sectional quantitative design, surveys were administered to 150 employees and 30 managers, evaluating perceptions of transformational, transactional, and laissez-faire leadership styles and their impact on performance. Results: The application of surveys, techniques, and tools allowed for the analysis of data collected from respondents and the triangulation of results based on the implemented variables. Discussion: Assessments were established and refined using expert criteria. Conclusions: The results reveal that transformational leadership promotes greater job satisfaction and performance, while laissez-faire leadership has a negative effect on these aspects. Contribution: The findings highlight the need to foster transformational leadership in local companies to optimize organizational performance and well-being.@en
                    [1] => Objetivo: El liderazgo organizacional y su relación con el desempeño laboral son áreas de creciente interés, especialmente en entornos competitivos donde el estrés afecta el bienestar y la toma de decisiones. Este estudio analiza la influencia de diferentes estilos de liderazgo en el rendimiento de empleados de empresas en Ambato, Ecuador. Metodología: Utilizando un diseño cuantitativo transversal, se aplicaron encuestas a 150 empleados y 30 directivos, evaluando las percepciones sobre los estilos de liderazgo transformacional, transaccional y laissez-faire y su impacto en el desempeño. Resultados: la aplicación de encuestas, técnicas y herramientas, permitieron analizar los datos recogidos en los encuestados y triangular los resultados a partir de las variables implementadas. Discusión: se establecen valoraciones que se   puntualizan desde los criterios de expertos. Conclusiones: Los resultados revelan que el liderazgo transformacional promueve una mayor satisfacción y desempeño laboral, mientras que el laissez-faire tiene un efecto negativo en estos aspectos. Aporte: los hallazgos destacan la necesidad de fomentar el liderazgo transformacional en empresas locales para optimizar el rendimiento y bienestar organizacional.@es
