                    [0] => The article aims to carry out preventive conservation actions that allow mitigating or stopping the deceased and loose pages as witnesses to the memory of the San Juan de Dios Cemetery in Matanzas. Through the study of historical, theoretical and heritage components regarding the conservation of paper-based assets, the main values in documentation and its binding are also analyzed. The diagnosis revealed the main damages and with these results an effective conservation proposal can be formed, which later can be used for an intervention in the field of restoration. For this reason, this work feces the challenge of presenting effective preservation actions from the study of the deterioration it presents and its heritage value as a source of information and a container of history.@en
                    [1] => El artículo tiene como objetivo, realizar acciones de conservación preventiva que permita mitigar o frenar el deterioro que poseen el libro de difuntos y hojas sueltas como testigos de la memoria del cementerio San Juan de Dios en Matanzas. A través del estudio de componentes históricos, teóricos y patrimoniales respecto a la conservación de bienes en soporte papel; se analizan también los principales valores en la documentación y su encuadernación. El diagnóstico arrojó sus principales daños y con estos resultados se podrá conformar una eficaz propuesta de conservación, que más adelante pueda servir para una intervención desde el campo de la restauración. Por ello este trabajo enfrenta el reto de presentar acciones de preservación eficaces desde el estudio del deterioro que presenta y su valor patrimonial como fuente de información y recipiente de historia.@es
