                    [0] => This study aimed to analyze the relationship of the formationand development of the public library with the political, economic, socialand cultural development of the central region, specifically in Sancti Spiritus, and also to examine the peculiarities of the selected analytical categories: collections, subject librarian and user subject, both in the initialstage of its organization and development. We used historical and logicalmethods, inductive-deductive, analytic-synthetic and content analysis forthe interpretation of the data, explaining relationships and ratings thatare considered relevant. In this work we systematize regularities of theformation and organization of the public library in Sancti Spiritus in theRepublican period, and the stage of development after the Revolution,until 1989, a period in which the largest number of libraries were createdin this municipality and the National and Provincial Coordination Librariesdeveloped a significant work. The results of this research are part of the20th century, and in terms of development that gradually progressed toselected categories of analysis.@en
                    [1] => El presente estudio tuvo como objetivos analizar la interrelación del proceso de formación y desarrollo de la biblioteca pública con el contexto político, económico, social y cultural de la región central, específicamente, en Sancti Spíritus. Así como examinar las peculiaridades de las categorías de análisis seleccionadas: colecciones, sujeto bibliotecario y sujeto usuario, tanto en la etapa inicial de su organización como de desarrollo. Se emplearon los métodos histórico-lógico, inductivo-deductivo, analítico-sintético y de análisis de contenido para la interpretación de los datos, la explicación de las relaciones y las valoraciones que se consideraron pertinentes. En el trabajo se sistematizan regularidades del proceso de formación y organización de la biblioteca pública espirituana en el período Republicano, y en la etapa de desarrollo después del triunfo revolucionario, hasta 1989, etapa en que se creó el mayor número de bibliotecas en el territorio espirituano y que la Dirección Nacional de Bibliotecas y la Coordinación Provincial, desarrollaron una significativa labor. Los resultados de esta investigación se enmarcan en el siglo xx, y en función del desarrollo que paulatinamente iban alcanzando las categorías de análisis seleccionadas.@es
