                    [0] => Introduction: Neuroscience is an interdisciplinary field that plays a fundamental role in studying the complex interaction between neurobiological systems and human behavior. It integrates knowledge from diverse areas such as biology, psychology, physics, and philosophy.
Objectives: To summarize the development of scientific research in neuroscience in Chile, to identify the main areas of study, key institutions, contributions of the most influential researchers, and collaboration networks.
Methods: The bibliometric method was used to analyze articles about neuroscience in Chile in the 1976-2023 period. The Web of Science was used to extract key information such as annual publications, authors, countries, institutions, and most cited journals. The Biblioshiny and VOSviewer tools were used for analysis and visualization.
Results: A constant and significant growth of neurosciences in Chile was highlighted, as well as a relevant presence in high-impact journals and influential authors, with a wide network of international collaboration, although concentrated in few institutions and researchers.
Conclusions: The need to diversify the topics, institutions and actors involved in the Chilean field of neurosciences is emphasized.@en
                    [1] => Introducción: Las neurociencias constituyen un campo interdisciplinar que desempeña un rol fundamental, al estudiar la compleja interacción entre los sistemas neurobiológicos y la conducta humana. Integra conocimientos de diversas áreas como la biología, la psicología, la física y la filosofía.
Objetivos: Sintetizar el desarrollo de las investigaciones científicas de las neurociencias en Chile, para identificar las principales áreas de estudio, instituciones clave, contribución de investigadores más influyentes y redes de colaboración.
Métodos: Se utilizó el método bibliométrico para analizar los artículos entorno a las neurociencias en Chile en el período 1976-2023. Se utilizó la Web of Science para extraer información clave como publicaciones anuales, autores, países, instituciones y revistas más citadas. Para el análisis y visualización se emplearon las herramientas Biblioshiny y VOSviewer.
Resultados: Se destacó un crecimiento constante y significativo de las neurociencias en Chile, una presencia relevante en revistas de alto impacto y autores influyentes, con una amplia red de colaboración internacional, aunque concentrada en escasas instituciones e investigadores.
Conclusiones: Se enfatiza en la necesidad de diversificar los temas, las instituciones y los actores implicados en el campo chileno de las neurociencias.@es
