                    [0] => Curitiba has in its history an intimate relationship with the industrialization process that took place in Brazil from the end of the nineteenth century.  However, part of this past, and of the vestiges that are still perceptible, are in a state of abandonment or erasure. Therefore, this article aims to investigate the industrial past of the city of Curitiba, its histories and heritage linked to the process of urbanization and industrialization, with the objective of discussing the importance of preserving the industrial heritage. We will use as a case study the Matte Leão factory, in order to explore  the cultural and patrimonial legacy of the industrial spaces, understanding that their protection is related to the preservation of a part of the city´s history, recognizing the industrial heritage as a field of research and action that reaches, concomitantly, the memory of the work,  the establishment and protection of collections and the presence of industrial buildings in the urban fabric.@en
                    [1] => Curitiba tem em sua história uma intima relação com o processo de industrialização ocorrida no Brasil a partir do final do século XIX.  Entretanto, parte desse passado, e dos vestígios que ainda se fazem perceptíveis, estão em estado de abandono ou apagamento. Sendo assim, este artigo tem por objetivo realizar uma investigação sobre o passado industrial da cidade de Curitiba, suas histórias e patrimônios ligados ao processo de urbanização e industrialização, com o objetivo de discutir a importância da preservação do patrimônio industrial. Utilizaremos como estudo de caso a fábrica Matte Leão, a fim de explorar o legado cultural e patrimonial dos espaços industriais, entendendo que a sua proteção se relaciona com a própria preservação de uma parte da história da cidade, reconhecendo o patrimônio industrial como um campo de pesquisa e atuação que atinge, concomitantemente, a memória do trabalho, o estabelecimento e proteção de acervos e a presença das edificações industriais no tecido urbano.@pt
