                    [0] => Both universities and cultural heritage have suffered greatly from the financial suffocation resulting from neoliberal ideas. At this juncture, university cultural heritage suffers from the absence of public policies. That said, universities, supported by university autonomy, must implement their own institutional policies. In this sense, we share the experience of the Federal University of Pernambuco, which is on a trajectory that points to the implementation of a policy for its heritage. This trajectory begins with articulations so that heritage appears in the University´s main documents and has advanced to more concrete phases, with the most recent initiative being the creation of the Museum Network. Finally, we emphasize that it is an arduous struggle, especially due to the lack of financial resources, but necessary for the preservation of the extremely important heritage present on the various campuses in Brasil.@en
                    [1] => Tanto as universidades quanto o patrimônio cultural vêm sofrendo demasiadamente com o asfixiamento financeiro decorrente do ideário neoliberal. Nessa conjuntura o patrimônio cultural universitário sofre com a ausência de políticas públicas. Isto posto, as universidades, amparadas na autonomia universitária, devem implementar suas próprias políticas institucionais. Neste sentido, compartilhamos a experiência da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, que vem numa trajetória que aponta para a implementação de uma política para o seu patrimônio. Trajetória esta que se inicia com articulações para que o patrimônio conste  nos principais documentos da Universidade e tem avançado para fases mais concretas, tendo como iniciativa mais recente a criação da Rede de Museus. Por fim, salientamos que é uma luta árdua, sobretudo em função da fata de recursos financeiros, porém necessária para a preservação de importantíssimo patrimônio presente nos diversos campi do Brasil.@pt
