                    [0] => It is known that it is possible to preserve a building through its use. In this context, there are contemporary art museums that use historic buildings, as seen in Belém (Pará, Brazil), in long-term and temporary exhibitions, of very varied collections. However, this new use in an old building presents important aspects to be discussed, regarding the nuances of preservation and a contemporary use, from different readings. Thus, the objective of this investigation is to discuss how this museum typology can present different ways of adapting and which exhibitions, between permanent and temporary, manifest greater influence in the conservation and reading of the building. Although there is a lack of a more observant view of museums with regard to the limits of use of the pre-existing environment, it is necessary to say that there are benefits for both, buildings and museums, which can be leveraged in favor of both maintaining the conservation of the construction and from the museum.@en
                    [1] => Sabe-se que é possível preservar um edifício através de seu uso. Neste contexto, existem os museus de arte contemporânea que utilizam as edificações históricas, como visto em Belém (Pará, Brasil), em exposições de longa duração e temporárias, de acervos bem variados. Contudo, esta utilização nova em uma edificação antiga apresenta aspectos importantes de serem discutidos, no que tange as nuances da preservação e um uso contemporâneo, de diversas leituras. Assim, o objetivo desta investigação é de discutir como esta tipologia museal pode apresentar diversas formas de se adaptar e quais exposições, entre permanentes e temporárias, manifestam maior influência na conservação e leitura do edifício. Ainda que falte um olhar mais observador dos museus no que toca aos limites de uso do ambiente pré-existente, é necessário dizer que há benefícios para ambos, edifícios e museus, que podem ser potencializados em favor tanto da manutenção da conservação da construção, quanto do museu.@pt
