                                            [0] => This action research aims to present a diagnosis of the Dom Paulo Libório Municipal Museum of Sacred Art (MASPL) in Teresina, Piauí, from an analytical perspective. This way, we analyze the museum’s general situation and identify the institution’s current state. The development of this study considers collaborative work and exchange of knowledge with the research participants. We base the analyses on the concepts of museum and museology discussed by André Desvallées and François Mairesse (2013), the action research methodology proposed by Michel Thiollent (2009), and the methodological contributions by Duarte Cândido (2019). The results indicate that MASPL emerges as a biographical museum and a space of memory that still presents management and planning problems. Thus, our museological diagnosis of MASPL allows the institution to reflect on its practices and strengthen its image.
                                            [1] => Esta pesquisa-ação objetiva apresentar um diagnóstico do Museu Municipal de Arte Sacra Dom Paulo Libório (MASPL) em Teresina, Piauí, a partir de uma perspectiva analítica. Dessa forma, examinamos a situação geral do museu e identificamos o atual estado da instituição. O desenvolvimento deste estudo considera o trabalho colaborativo e a troca de saberes com os participantes de pesquisa. Fundamentamos as análises nos conceitos de museu e museologia discutidos por André Desvallées e François Mairesse (2013), na metodologia da pesquisa-ação proposta por Michel Thiollent (2009) e nas contribuições metodológicas de Duarte Cândido (2019). Os resultados apontam que o MASPL se constitui como museu biográfico e espaço de memória que ainda apresenta problemas de gestão e planejamento. Assim, nosso diagnóstico museológico do MASPL contribui para que a instituição reflita sobre suas práticas e fortaleça sua imagem.
