                    [0] => This article investigates objects related to the history of psychiatry and its therapeutics that were appropriated in an aesthetic or artistic way. Art can be, in these cases, either a value attributed a posteriori, in default of its author´s intentions, or intentionally undertaken for a consuming public. With this, we propose to think about how straitjackets, medicine packaging, asylum spaces, and other elements have been transformed into stylized objects, whether by fashion or by art. Such objects have a huge and conflicting historical web and, therefore, we chose some unfoldings of this scenario in a contemporary moment.@en
                    [1] => O presente artigo tem como matéria de investigação objetos ligados à história da psiquiatria e de suas terapêuticas e que foram apropriados de forma estética ou artística. A arte pode ser nestes casos tanto um valor atribuído à posteriori, a revelia das intenções de seu autor, ou empreendida de forma intencional destinada a um público consumidor. Com isso, propomos pensar de que modo camisas de força, embalagens de medicamentos, espaços asilares e outros elementos foram transformados em objetos estilizados, seja pela moda ou pela arte. Tais objetos possuem uma enorme e conflitante teia histórica e, por isso, escolhemos alguns desdobramentos deste cenário em momento contemporâneo.@pt
