                                            [0] => This paper attempts to investigate how performance records work not only as points of access to an action which is not likely to happen again, but as possible resources for its updating. Based on Chris Burden’s work (1946-2015), the target of this article is to understand what elements are used by the artist in order to adapt his performances to new bases and contexts, thus building records which relate to the original event, but also become autonomous and can create new meanings.
 
                                            [1] => Este artigo procura explorar de que forma os registros de performances podem atuar não só como pontos de acesso a uma ação que provavelmente não voltará a se repetir, mas como possíveis recursos para sua atualização e ressignificação. Partindo da obra de Chris Burden (1946-2015), a ideia é entender quais são os elementos utilizados pelo artista a fim de transpor suas performances para novos suportes e contextos, construindo, assim, registros que se relacionam com o evento original, mas também assumem autonomia e podem produzir novos significados.
