                                            [0] => This article aims to identify and analyze the heritage documents and related legislation referring to indigenous cultural heritage, emphasizing the way in which these instruments have been approaching the preservation of ethnographic collections and, more recently, the shared stewardship with indigenous peoples. For this purpose, documents produced at the national and international levels were consulted, and those with the traditional, ethnological, ethnographic and/or indigenous terms were selected. A total of 16 documents were identified and analyzed, including heritage charters, declarations, recommendations, policies and legislation. Through the analysis, it was possible to verify the transformations that occurred in the scope of the valorization of the indigenous ethnographic collections, from their recognition as heritage to be preserved until the current moment of indication of the shared stewardship with the groups.
                                            [1] => Esse artigo visa identificar e analisar os documentos patrimoniais e legislações referentes ao patrimônio cultural indígena, dando ênfase ao modo como esses instrumentos vêm abordando a preservação das coleções etnográficas e, mais atualmente, a gestão compartilhada com os povos indígenas. Para isso, foram consultados documentos produzidos no âmbito nacional e internacional, sendo selecionados aqueles que traziam em seu título ou conteúdo os termos tradicional, etnológico, etnográfico e/ou indígena. Foram identificados e analisados, no total, 16 documentos, dentre cartas patrimoniais, declarações, recomendações, políticas e legislações. Através da análise, foi possível verificar as transformações ocorridas no âmbito da valorização das coleções etnográficas indígenas, desde seu reconhecimento como patrimônio a ser preservado até o momento atual de indicação da gestão compartilhada com os grupos.
