                                            [0] => In the Luso-Brazilian Enlightenment, the circulation of plants in the Portuguese Empire was quite emphasised and created by a series of actions that would enabled the collection, transportation and acclimatization of exotic plants in the Brazilian captaincies. In this paper, we analyze the set of botanical practices, such as observation, experience and experimentation, carried out in several places, such as forests, vegetable gardens, backyards, botanical gardens and the ships for vegetable transportation. For the implementation of this project, was mobilized a group of professionalsinvolved in the Philosophical Travels, in scientific academies, in Botanical Gardens, with the colabotion of local population, specially on the indigenous knowledge of plants.
                                            [1] => No período ilustrado luso-brasileiro, o fluxo de vegetais no Império Português foi bastante fomentado e criou-se uma série de ações que viabilizassem a coleta, o transporte e a aclimatação das plantas exóticas nas capitanias brasileiras. Neste artigo analisaremos o conjunto de práticas botânicas, como a observação, a experiência e a experimentação, realizadas em diversos locais, como as matas, hortas, quintais, roças, jardins botânicos e os próprios navios para transporte vegetal. Para a execução deste projeto mobilizou-se um conjunto de profissionais envolvidos nas Viagens Filosóficas, em academias científicas, em Jardins Botânicos, que contaram com a colaboração da população local, com ênfase especial para o conhecimento indígena sobre as plantas.
