Para tanto, parte-se da conceituação de três elementos centrais à discussão - cultura, educação e arte - objetivando dar consistência às suas derivações - espaços culturais, ação educativa e mercado de arte.  A ligação entre estes elementos é pensada a partir da categoria trabalho levando em consideração a mercantilização da cultura, a crescente vinculação entre educação e responsabilização social e a especificidade do contexto brasileiro.
