It addresses the spread, types and verification of fake news. It identifies, among the results, according to a semi-structured questionnaire, using the inductive method, that librarians keep up to date via news channels and that misleading content is the most well-known type of fake news, but false context received more examples. The conclusion is that librarians understand what fake news means, use checking environments, advocate training, warn about safe sources and guide students on checking information.@en

Aborda propagação, tipos e checagem de fake news. Identifica, entre os resultados, segundo um questionário semiestruturado, de método indutivo, que os bibliotecários se atualizam via canais de notícias e que conteúdo enganoso é o tipo de fake news mais conhecido, porém falso contexto recebeu mais exemplificações.
