                    [0] => This article presents an analysis about the presence of indexing policies in school libraries of public and private schools. The article has as general objective to verify the presence and effectiveness of indexing policies and librarians in public and private school libraries in the city of Londrina, in the State of Paraná.  Therefore, the methodological path includes the case study, to understand the indexing policies and the presence of librarians in school libraries, and the comparative study to understand the differences and possible consequences between indexing policies in public and private school libraries. Data collection was used a questionnaire sent to the selected schools, interviews with professionals and observations in libraries. From the research it was possible to observe in the public and private school libraries of Londrina that they integrated the researched universe that the existence of the indexing policy is not guaranteed by the presence of the librarian, since none of the libraries interviewed has an indexing policy.  In addition, the need for the  librarian professional in all school libraries is emphasized,  and it was observed that the state network does not have the position of librarian and, therefore,  employees who do not have adequate training work in libraries or reading rooms, making the organization precarious, mediation almost non-existent and poor management, without the presence of any policy that indicates which actions to implement for the good function and organization of the library.@en
                    [1] => Apresenta uma análise acerca da presença de políticas da indexação em bibliotecas escolares de escolas públicas e privadas. O artigo possui como objetivo geral verificar a presença e a eficácia das políticas de indexação e de bibliotecários em bibliotecas escolares públicas e privadas da cidade de Londrina, no Estado do Paraná. Para tanto, o percurso metodológico inclui o estudo de caso, para compreender as políticas de indexação e a presença de bibliotecários em bibliotecas escolares, e o estudo comparativo para perceber quais as diferenças e possíveis consequências entre as políticas de indexação em bibliotecas escolares públicas e privadas. Foram utilizados como instrumentos coleta de dados um questionário enviado às escolas selecionadas, entrevistas realizadas com os profissionais e observações nas bibliotecas. A partir da pesquisa foi possível constatar nas bibliotecas escolares públicas e privadas de Londrina que integraram o universo pesquisado que a existência da política de indexação não está garantida pela a presença do bibliotecário, uma vez que nenhuma das bibliotecas entrevistadas possui política de indexação. Em complemento se ressalta a necessidade do profissional bibliotecário em todas as bibliotecas escolares, tendo sido observado que a rede estadual não possui o cargo de bibliotecário e, portanto, funcionários que não possuem capacitação adequada atuam nas bibliotecas ou salas de leitura, tornando a organização precária, a mediação quase inexistente e a gestão deficiente, sem a presença de qualquer política que indique quais ações implementar para o bom funcionamento e organização da biblioteca.@pt
