                    [0] => The school library has several roles in the school and the community in which it operates. According to the survey Portraits of Reading in Brazil, in 2015, only 19% of respondents cited libraries as places where they usually read books. The promotion of cultural activities can help to increase this indicator, attracting the internal and external public to the institution. Curious and creative teachers and librarians can do more for this school environment by organizing and instigating projects, events, cultural actions, and reading incentives. With this in mind, the libraries of the Federal Institute of Paraná (IFPR) campuses develop a series of activities that attract the participation of external and internal communities, ranging from artistic exhibitions to games that involve the reading and literature promotion. At the Pinhais and Jaguariaíva campuses, the Reading Clubs are projects aimed at bringing individuals closer to the act of reading. In 2019, these clubs organized for a first meeting, with the theme Women, in honor of the International Women´s Day celebrated in March, held in April, via videoconference, with video presentation and a dynamic game format. The action has been well evaluated by campuses and is intended to continue with similar activities.@en
                    [1] => A biblioteca escolar tem diversos papéis na escola e na comunidade em que está inserida. Segundo a pesquisa Retratos da Leitura no Brasil, em 2015, apenas 19% dos entrevistados citaram bibliotecas como lugares em que costumam ler livros. A promoção de atividades culturais pode auxiliar no aumento desse indicador, atraindo o público interno e externo à instituição. Professores e bibliotecários curiosos e criativos podem fazer mais em prol desse ambiente escolar, organizando e instigando projetos, eventos, ações culturais e de incentivo à leitura. Pensando nisso, as bibliotecas dos campi do Instituto Federal do Paraná (IFPR) desenvolvem uma série de atividades que atraem a participação das comunidades externa e interna, que vão desde exposições artísticas a jogos que envolvem o fomento à leitura e à literatura. Nos campi Pinhais e Jaguariaíva, os Clubes de Leitura são projetos que visam a aproximação de indivíduos em torno do ato de ler. Em 2019, esses clubes organizaram-se para um primeiro encontro, com a temática Mulher, em homenagem ao Dia Internacional da Mulher comemorado em março, realizado em abril, via videoconferência, com apresentação de vídeos e uma dinâmica em formato de jogo. A ação foi bem avaliada pelos campi e pretende-se continuar com atividades similares.@pt
