                                            [0] => This article refers to the work of library professionals focusing on the development of critical reading with women in prison. In research of immersive nature, it was possible to develop sociocultural mediations, using literate objects of information, with the internal ones of PREFEM/SE, inside the library of this prison unit. Then comes the Book Club action, carried out concurrently with the process of organizing the library collection of this female prison. In this process, and in a descriptive methodological approach, the practice of dialogue with the prisoners was acquired, thus being possible to understand aspects of real life that they approached the stories found in books. Thus, from the relationship between fantasy and reality, we identified the bestseller “50 shades of gray”, by author E. L. James, as one of the titles most consumed by them. This work, judged by the prisoners to be a novel with traces of eroticism, was the necessary hook to address recurring themes in the lives of these women, such as: domestic violence and abusive relationship. In a Book Club, this bestseller was reinterpreted, and situations previously naturalized by them, such as excessive jealousy, were differently qualified from critical reading as toxic attitudes.
                                            [1] => Este artigo apresenta mediações realizadas por profissionais da biblioteconomia com foco no desenvolvimento da leitura crítica junto a mulheres em situação de cárcere. Em pesquisa de natureza imersiva, foi possível desenvolver ações socioculturais, utilizando bens letrados de informação com as internas do PREFEM/SE dentro da biblioteca dessa unidade prisional. Surge, então, o Clube do Livro, projeto realizado concomitantemente ao processo de organização do acervo da biblioteca desse presídio feminino. Nesse processo e em uma abordagem metodológica descritiva adquiriu-se a prática de diálogo com as internas, sendo possível compreender acontecimentos da vida real que elas aproximavam das histórias encontradas em livros. Dessa forma, por meio da relação entre a fantasia e a realidade, identificou-se o bestseller “50 tons de cinza”, da autora E. L. James, como um dos títulos mais consumidos pelas presidiárias. Essa obra, julgada pelas internas como um romance com traços de erotismo, foi peça fundamental para se tratar de temas recorrentes na vida daquelas mulheres, tais como: a violência doméstica e o relacionamento abusivo. Em um dos encontros do Clube do Livro, esse bestseller foi reinterpretado e situações anteriormente naturalizadas por elas, como ciúme excessivo, foram diferentemente qualificadas, a partir da leitura crítica, como sendo atitudes tóxicas
