                    [0] => The National Policy of Reading and Writing is a public policy understood as a strategy to promote the book, the reading, the literature, the writing and the libraries in Brazil. The Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 is one of the 17 United Nations (UN) 2030 Agenda SDGs and represents a commitment to quality education for the sustainable development of people and the planet. In this sense, this study aimed to present convergences between the National Policy of Reading and Writing and the SDG 4, and for this purpose, the research method Content Analysis by Laurence Bardin was used to objectify it. The study revealed that although there are convergences between the National Policy of Reading and Writing and 2030 Agenda SDG 4, the former does not spell out objectives involving early childhood, pre-school education, technical, vocational and higher education, as well as adult education. Then, it was concluded that in case of having a constitutional change in the National Policy of Reading and Writing, this public policy might consider explicit other actions as objective in its content, so it will be able to promote the book, reading, literature, the writing, and libraries in society while assisting in the long-term consolidation of sustainable quality education in Brazil.@en
                    [1] => A Política Nacional de Leitura e Escrita (PNLE) é uma política pública de Estado entendida como uma estratégia para promover o livro, a leitura, a literatura, a escrita e as bibliotecas no Brasil. Já o Objetivo de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) 4 é um dos 17 ODS da Agenda 2030 da Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU) e representa um compromisso com a educação de qualidade no âmbito dessa agenda, para o desenvolvimento sustentável das pessoas e do Planeta. Em vista disso, este estudo objetivou apresentar convergências entre a PNLE e o ODS 4, e para tanto, o método de pesquisa Análise de Conteúdo de Laurence Bardin foi utilizado para objetivá-lo. Obteve-se como resultado que, embora existam convergências entre a PNLE e o ODS 4 da Agenda 2030, a primeira não explicita em seu conteúdo objetivos que envolvam a primeira infância, a educação pré-escolar, os ensinos técnico, profissional e superior, bem como a educação de adultos. Concluiu-se que frente a uma possível alteração constitucional, a PNLE pode vir a considerar explicitar outras ações como objetivo para o seu conteúdo, a fim de que possa promover o livro, a leitura, a literatura, a escrita e as bibliotecas na sociedade e auxiliar na consolidação de uma educação de qualidade sustentável no Brasil no longo prazo.@pt
