                    [0] => It presents, through an exploratory-bibliographical research, considerations about the concept, cultural relevance and public policies of community libraries. It analyzes what is understood by community library and its relations with the public and popular library, as well as the reasons that caused its emergence. It highlights the importance of the public library and the community library as education and culture devices for the formation of readers, citizens more aware, and for the local development of communities. Finally, discusses the policies made for the area of books and reading and library and identifies that most of them were carried out through government actions especially by initiative of the federal government between the years from 2003 to 2016, strengthening of state policy making for the area book, reading and libraries thanks to the commitment and social mobilization of civil society and collectives.@en
                    [1] => Apresenta, por meio de uma pesquisa exploratório-bibliográfica, considerações acerca do conceito, relevância cultural e políticas públicas das bibliotecas comunitárias. Analisa o que se compreende por biblioteca comunitária e suas relações com a biblioteca pública e popular, bem como os motivos que provocaram o seu surgimento. Destaca a importância da biblioteca pública e da biblioteca comunitária como dispositivos de educação e cultura para a formação de pessoas leitoras, cidadãs e cidadãos mais conscientes, e para o desenvolvimento local das comunidades. Por fim, discute as políticas realizadas para área do livro e leitura e biblioteca e identifica que a maioria delas foi realizada através de ações governamentais, especialmente por iniciativa do governo federal entre os anos de 2003 a 2016, fortalecendo a construção de políticas de Estado para a área do livro, leitura e bibliotecas graças ao empenho e a mobilização social de coletivos e da sociedade civil.@pt
