                    [0] => Study on the informational behavior of parents of children with Central auditory processing disorder (CAPD), in order to analyze their information needs on CAPD. Part of a bibliographical research and exploratory about informational behavior through the behavioral models proposed by scholars like Wilson and Choo, as well as on the auditory processing and the disorder that occurs and which compromises the learning and quality of life of children, young people and adults. The research data were collected in the Associação Beneficente Milton Pereira de Melo, through questionnaires to the participants and were assessed from a qualitative approach, seeking to understand the behavior of parents about information needs. The results indicate that the informational needs highlighted current and are still quite far from being fully resolved, even the parents having acquired knowledge about the CAPD, still remain many questions that need to be clarified so that they can ensure better quality of life to the children. It is concluded that the results of the survey were positive, since the topic is still little publicized in CAPD society, collaborating so that parents have less concern about the future of their children.@en
                    [1] => Estudo sobre o comportamento informacional de pais de crianças com Distúrbio de Processamento Auditivo Central (DPAC), com o objetivo de analisar suas necessidades de informação sobre DPAC. Parte-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica e exploratória acerca do comportamento informacional mediante os modelos comportamentais propostos por estudiosos como Wilson e Choo, bem como sobre o processamento auditivo e o distúrbio que ocorre e que compromete o aprendizado e a qualidade de vida de crianças, jovens e adultos. Os dados da pesquisa foram coletados na Associação Beneficente Milton Pereira de Melo, por meio de aplicação de questionário aos participantes e foram avaliados a partir de uma abordagem qualitativa, buscando entender o comportamento dos pais sobre as necessidades de informação. Os resultados indicam que as necessidades informacionais evidenciadas ainda são bastante vigentes e estão longe de ser totalmente sanadas. Mesmo os pais tendo adquirido conhecimento a respeito do DPAC, ainda persistem muitas dúvidas que necessitam ser esclarecidas para que possam garantir melhor qualidade de vida aos filhos. Conclui-se que os resultados obtidos pela pesquisa foram positivos, uma vez que o tema DPAC ainda é pouco divulgado na sociedade em geral, colaborando para que os pais tenham menos preocupação com o futuro de seus filhos.@pt
