                                            [0] => This work refers to the research proposal as part of the Master in Professional Education in Health on the role of libraries in the training of health technicians in African Countries of Portuguese Official Language. In those countries, health workforce it is insufficient, with a minority of skilled professionals. The objective of the study is to analyze the conditions in which they are the libraries of technical workers training institutions in health d these countries, with which the Polytechnic School Joaquim Venancio Health maintains international cooperation partnerships in order to subsidize the actions of cooperation developed within the International Technical Education Network for Health. The research is classified as descriptive, bibliographical, documentary and field, with qualitative and quantitative approach. The field research is directed to the librarians/employees of school libraries in these countries by questionnaire. With regard to technical cooperation developed by Brazil, it is worth remembering that these countries are among its priorities. Therefore, a thorough study of the situation it is necessary in order to highlight the conditions in which they are the libraries of these schools and the role played by them in learning the technical future health.
                                            [1] => Este trabalho refere-se à proposta de pesquisa no âmbito do mestrado em Educação Profissional em Saúde, sobre o papel das bibliotecas na formação dos técnicos em saúde nos Países Africanos de Língua Oficial Portuguesa. Nesses países, a força de trabalho em saúde é insuficiente, com uma minoria de profissionais qualificados. O objetivo do estudo é analisar as condições em que se encontram as bibliotecas das instituições de formação de trabalhadores técnicos em saúde desses países, com as quais a Escola Politécnica de Saúde Joaquim Venâncio mantém parcerias de cooperação internacional, a fim de subsidiar as ações de cooperação desenvolvidas, no âmbito da Rede Internacional de Educação de Técnicos em Saúde. A pesquisa é classificada como descritiva, bibliográfica, documental e de campo, com abordagem quali-quantitativa. A pesquisa de campo é direcionada aos bibliotecários/trabalhadores das bibliotecas das escolas desses países, mediante aplicação de questionário. Em relação à cooperação técnica desenvolvida pelo Brasil, é válido lembrar que, esses países figuram entre as suas prioridades. Por isso, faz-se necessário um estudo aprofundado dessa situação, a fim de evidenciar as condições em que se encontram as bibliotecas dessas escolas e o papel desempenhado por elas na aprendizagem dos futuros técnicos em saúde.
