                                            [0] => For discussion of scientific theories of librarianship, this text seeks to resume his career to better understand the process of incorporation of this disciplinary field and to situate it in the paradigmatic changes that have occurred so far. To understand the elements that constitute this field, part of the meaning of the word librarianship, seeking to find its origin through the processes of organization and preservation of recorded information over time. Then highlights the studies that are in the theoretical and practical framework of librarianship, taking into account that this is a discipline that systematized knowledge of the Organization and administration of libraries, including all procedures involving the maintenance and activities of these institutions. After taking into account the question of the science of library science seeks to situate the paradigmatic framework in the current area.
                                            [1] => Devido à discussão em torno da cientificidade da Biblioteconomia, este texto procura resgatar sua trajetória para melhor compreender o processo constitutivo desse campo disciplinar e para situá-lo nas mudanças paradigmáticas ocorridas até o momento. Para entender os elementos que constituem esse campo, a discussão do tema parte do significado da palavra Biblioteconomia, buscando localizar a sua origem por meio dos processos de organização e preservação da informação registrada ao longo do tempo. Em seguida, são destacados os estudos que se constituem no arcabouço teórico e prático da Biblioteconomia, tendo em conta que se trata de uma disciplina que sistematiza conhecimentos relativos a organização e administração de bibliotecas, incluindo todos os procedimentos que envolvem a manutenção e atividades dessas instituições. Após, considerando o questionamento da cientificidade da Biblioteconomia, o texto situa a área no atual quadro paradigmático.
