                    [0] => This paper aims to identify, in the literature, possible applications and semiotics contributions to the development of online reference services. In this study, which has a theoretical feature, it is possible to observe that in the area of Information Science, studies covering semiotics are limited to the processes of treatment and organization of information and knowledge, and just a few studies are about the semiotics applied to the process of communication and dissemination of that knowledge and there is even less research applied to the interaction between librarian and user in the virtual environment, such as online reference service.@en
                    [1] => O presente artigo visa identificar na literatura possíveis aplicações e contribuições da semiótica para o desenvolvimento de serviços de referência. Neste estudo, de caráter teórico, é possível visualizar que na área de Ciência da Informação, as pesquisas que abrangem a semiótica limitam-se aos processos de tratamento e organização da informação e do conhecimento, pouco se fala sobre a semiótica aplicada ao processo de comunicação e disseminação desse conhecimento e menos ainda, aplicada à interação entre bibliotecário e usuário no ambiente virtual, como é o caso do serviço de referência online.@pt
