                    [0] => This study aims to examine the relation between information technology tools and information management. For this, a brief conceptualization of document management and information management was conducted, and its relationship with the functionality of the Electronic Information System (SEI), called knowledge base, was established, which enabled the listing the stages of the system process. Furthermore, during the research, the project of the Brazilian Federal Government to make the administrative process digital (called the National Electronic Process) was presented along with one of its actions, with details about its implementation at Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro. Based on this, it was possible to verify that the use of SEI at the university ended the paradigm of paper as a physical support for administrative processes, sharing knowledge by updating new information in real time. Regarding the SEI knowledge base, results showed that, by enabling the definition of documents that belong to processes, this base significantly improved document management activities.@en
                    [1] => O objetivo deste artigo é examinar a relação entre ferramentas da tecnologia da informação e a gestão da informação. Para tanto, foi realizada uma breve conceituação da gestão de documentos e da gestão da informação, e estabelecida a sua relação com a funcionalidade do Sistema Eletrônico de Informações (SEI), chamada base de conhecimento, que permite elencar as etapas ou o passo a passo do processo utilizado. Além disso, durante a pesquisa, foi apresentado o projeto do Governo Federal para tornar o processo administrativo digital, intitulado Processo Eletrônico Nacional, e uma de suas ações, o SEI, com detalhes sobre sua implementação na Universidade Federal do Triângulo Mineiro. A partir desses entendimentos, foi possível verificar que a utilização do SEI na universidade possibilitou o fim do paradigma do papel como suporte físico para processos administrativos e o compartilhamento do conhecimento com a atualização de novas informações em tempo real. Em relação à base de conhecimento do SEI, os resultados demonstraram que, ao permitir a definição dos documentos que integram os processos, essa base gerou melhorias significativas para as atividades de gestão documental.@pt
