                                            [0] => This article presents an analysis of data on female presence, considering the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, celebrated since 2015 on February 11th. The methodology had an exploratory and descriptive character, with a quantitative approach and sought to identify, through analysis of publication data, and publicize girls and women from the Federal Institute of Brasília (IFB), their respective courses, campus of origin, projects and areas of search. The results show a predominance of researchers who work in Integrated High School, to the detriment of undergraduate, technology and postgraduate courses. From this research, it was realized the need to promote actions to give visibility to girls and women scientists, so that society can see them and encourage their empowerment from childhood.
                                            [1] => Este artigo apresenta uma análise dos dados sobre a presença feminina, considerando o Dia Internacional das Mulheres e Meninas na Ciência, comemorado, desde 2015, no dia 11 de fevereiro. A metodologia teve caráter exploratório e descritivo, com abordagem quantitativa e buscou identificar, por meio de análise de dados de publicações, e divulgar meninas e mulheres do Instituto Federal de Brasília (IFB), seus respectivos cursos, campus de origem, projetos e áreas de pesquisa. Os resultados mostram uma predominância de pesquisadoras que atuam no Ensino Médio Integrado, em detrimento aos cursos de licenciatura, tecnologia e pós-graduação. A partir desta pesquisa, percebeu-se a necessidade de fomentar ações para dar visibilidade às meninas e mulheres cientistas, a fim de que a sociedade possa enxergá-las e estimular desde a infância seu empoderamento.
