                    [0] => Human informational behavior constitutes an emerging theme in information science and corresponds to the sum of actions related to the recovery of contents in information sources and channels. Thus, informational behavior shows a clear adherence to the quality of life at work due to conditions that encompass several aspects that interfere in the lives of workers, which involve conditions and work environments that interfere with the physical, psychological and social well-being of individuals linked to institutional and organizational environments. Considering the announced prerogatives, the article sought to present the contributions of information science to the promotion of quality of life at work, exploring how the principles, methods and practices of this discipline can be applied to improve the work environment and access to relevant information, aiming at the satisfaction, well-being and personal and professional development of workers. From the announcement of the general objective, the methodological procedures were based on the method of monographic procedure (case study), descriptive level, population and sample of the investigation, technique and instrument of investigation based on the list of selected references. The results indicated that it is possible to broaden the vision about the quality of life at work, envisioning the interfaces with information science, especially regarding informational behavior. The final considerations announce that information science can support, with regard to informational behavior, effective transformations in the quality of life at work.@en
                    [1] => O comportamento informacional humano constitui uma temática emergente na ciência da informação e corresponde ao somatório de ações atinentes à recuperação de conteúdos em fontes e canais de informação. Assim, o comportamento informacional apresenta uma patente aderência à qualidade de vida no trabalho devido a condições que englobam diversos aspectos que interferem na vida dos trabalhadores, que envolve condições e ambientes laborais que interferem no bem-estar físico, psicológico e social dos indivíduos vinculados a ambientes institucionais e organizacionais. Considerando as prerrogativas anunciadas, o artigo procurou apresentar as contribuições da ciência da informação para a promoção da qualidade de vida no trabalho, explorando como os princípios, métodos e práticas dessa disciplina podem ser aplicados para melhorar o ambiente de trabalho e o acesso à informação relevante, visando a satisfação, bem-estar e desenvolvimento pessoal e profissional dos trabalhadores. A partir do anúncio do objetivo geral, os procedimentos metodológicos ampararam-se no método de procedimento monográfico (estudo de caso), nível descritivo, população e amostra da investigação, técnica e instrumento de investigação pautada no elenco de referências selecionadas. Os resultados assinalaram que é possível uma ampliação da visão acerca da qualidade de vida no trabalho vislumbrando as interfaces com a ciência da informação, sobretudo referente ao comportamento informacional. As considerações finais anunciam que a ciência da informação pode lastrear, no que tange ao comportamento informacional, transformações efetivas na qualidade de vida no trabalho.@pt
