ABSTRACT
 
The main objective of this article is to analyze existing adaptations within the scope of accessibility within university libraries to meet the needs of students with visual impairments: blind and low vision. To achieve the objective, qualitative bibliographical research was carried out. As a result, the main services and products, supports and technologies offered for access to information in university libraries for students with visual impairments were identified, including an analysis of existing assistive technologies.  The analyzes presented highlight the importance of the library in promoting the inclusion of students with visual impairments, respecting Ordinance No. 3.284, of 2003, of the Ministry of Education and Sports (MEC).

                    [1] => O presente artigo tem como principal objetivo analisar as adaptações existentes no âmbito da acessibilidade dentro das bibliotecas universitárias para atender às necessidades dos estudantes com deficiência visual: cegos e de baixa visão. Para alcançar o objetivo, realizou-se uma pesquisa qualitativa de cunho bibliográfico. Como resultado, foram identificados os principais serviços e produtos, suportes e tecnologias oferecidos para o acesso à informação nas bibliotecas universitárias para os alunos com deficiência visual, incluindo uma análise das tecnologias assistivas existentes.  As análises apresentadas destacam a importância da biblioteca em promover a inclusão dos alunos com deficiência visual, respeitando a Portaria nº 3.284, de 2003, do Ministério da Educação e do Desporto (MEC).
