                                            [0] => This integrative review addresses the importance of institutional repositories in the management of scientific in Health Sciences, highlighting their essential functions in organizing, preserving and disseminating academic and scientific knowledge in libraries and educational and research institutions in the health field. By combining and analyzing existing research, this approach aims to explore the potential of institutional repositories with a study on the contributions, challenges, and trends of repositories in light of dynamic and constantly evolving landscape of scientific production in the health field. The analysis of the results revealed a growing use of the platforms to promote open access, increase research visibility, and offer personalized services to researchers. However, it also points out the challenges faced by these platforms, such as low researcher adherence to self-archiving, technical and infrastructure issues, financial and operational sustainability, copyright, and interoperability. The contributions reported in the studies attest to the fundamental role of institutional repositories in promoting the dissemination of knowledge, preserving intellectual heritage, and supporting rducation and research in the health field.
                                            [1] => Esta revisão integrativa trata da importância dos repositórios institucionais na gestão da informação científica em Ciências da Saúde, destacando suas funções essenciais na organização, preservação e disseminação do conhecimento acadêmico e científico em bibliotecas e instituições de ensino e pesquisa na área da saúde. Ao combinar e analisar as pesquisas existentes, essa abordagem tem o intuito de explorar o potencial dos repositórios institucionais com um estudo sobre as contribuições, os desafios e as tendências dos repositórios diante do cenário dinâmico e em constante evolução da produção científica na área da saúde. A análise dos resultados revelou uma crescente de utilização dessas plataformas para promover o acesso aberto, aumentar a visibilidade da pesquisa e oferecer serviços personalizados aos pesquisadores. No entanto, são apontados também os desafios enfrentados por essas plataformas, como a baixa adesão dos pesquisadores ao autoarquivamento, questões técnicas e de infraestrutura, sustentabilidade financeira e operacional, direitos autorais e interoperabilidade. As contribuições relatadas nos estudos atestam o papel fundamental dos repositórios institucionais na promoção da disseminação do conhecimento, preservação do patrimônio intelectual e suporte à educação e pesquisa na área da saúde.
