                                            [0] => O conceito de patentes verdes se estabeleceu a partir da necessidade de incentivar a proteção de inovações que tenham um impacto positivo na preservação do meio ambiente. No Brasil, o Instituto Nacional da Propriedade Industrial (INPI) lançou o programa “Patentes Verdes” como projeto piloto em 17 de abril de 2012, tornando-o permanente em 06 de dezembro de 2016. Este estudo teve como propósito monitorar as patentes de biotecnologia outorgadas pelo Programa “Patentes Verdes” do INPI, utilizando a base de dados de patentes desta instituição. O intuito foi identificar tendências na concessão dessas patentes e estabelecer um panorama que possa contribuir para a prospecção futura dessas tecnologias além de destacar as vantagens proporcionadas pelo trâmite prioritário de tecnologias verdes.
                                            [1] => The concept of green patents was established from the need to encourage the protection of innovations that have a positive impact on environmental preservation. In Brazil, the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) launched the “Green Patents” program as a pilot project on April 17, 2012, making it permanent on December 6, 2016. The purpose of this study is to monitor the biotechnology patents granted by the INPI’s “Green Patents” program, using the patent database of this institution. The aim is to identify trends in the granting of these patents and to establish a panorama that can contribute to the future prospecting of these technologies, in addition to highlighting the advantages of the priority procedure provided by this Program.
