                                            [0] => On December 19, 2021, Chileans elected Gabriel Boric as their country's first president. Six months later, on June 19, 2022 in the Colombian presidential elections, the winner was Gustavo Petro. Although they are different countries in Latin America, both had similar electoral contexts caused by the socioeconomic crisis left by the Covid-19 pandemic, the social mobilizations and protests of different sectors of society, the rejection of traditional politics and institutions, and an electoral contest with different characters; among which, some promised to solve this increasingly growing dissatisfaction among citizens. This article analyzes the electoral speech of Gabriel Boric and José Antonio Kast in Chile and Gustavo Petro and Rodolfo Hernández in Colombia, in order to identify the discursive excesses that these political leaders used to take advantage of the context of crisis and exalt their political figure to obtain electoral victory. A political discourse analysis methodology was used with codes and categories that configure a populist vocabulary, and then the sample was reviewed using Python natural language processing.
                                            [1] => El 19 de diciembre de 2021 los chilenos eligieron como primer mandatario de su país a Gabriel Boric. Seis meses después, el 19 de junio de 2022 en las elecciones presidenciales de Colombia, el ganador fue Gustavo Petro. Aunque son diferentes países de Latinoamérica, ambos tenían contextos electorales parecidos provocados por la crisis socioeconómica dejada por la pandemia del Covid-19, las movilizaciones y protestas sociales de diferentes sectores de la sociedad, el rechazo a la política e instituciones tradicionales y una contienda electoral variopinta con diferentes personajes, algunos de los cuales prometían solucionar esta insatisfacción cada vez más creciente en los ciudadanos. Este artículo analiza el discurso electoral de Gabriel Boric y José Antonio Kast en Chile y de Gustavo Petro y Rodolfo Hernández en Colombia, con el fin de identificar los excesos discursivos que usaron estos dirigentes políticos para valerse del contexto de crisis y exaltar su figura política para obtener la victoria electoral. Se ha usado una metodología de análisis del discurso político con códigos y categorías que configuran un vocabulario populista, para después revisar la muestra a partir del procesamiento de lenguaje natural Python.
