                                            [0] => Children's literature can be a strategy to introduce children to different themes. In the context of quilombola communities, children's contact with texts that address the theme of African ancestry has been frequent. That said, the general objective of the research was to understand how the recognition and affirmation of African ancestry is represented in children's literature, especially in the books: “The Little Prince” and “The Little Black Prince”, from the perspective of the identity construction of quilombola’s children. The research was characterized as descriptive, in terms of objectives; documentary does refer to technical and qualitative procedures regarding the approach. For analysis, we used content analysis, based on the analysis categories – ancestry/exchange of knowledge between generations; black identity and ethnocentrism. The results revealed that the title “The Little Black Prince” written by a Brazilian, presents excerpts that positively portray the categories of analysis. With this, it is concluded that children's literature, when written by authors who throughout their life trajectory assimilated their culture through their African ancestors, their texts can contribute positively to the recognition and affirmation of African ancestry and the identity construction of quilombola children.
                                            [1] => A literatura infantojuvenil pode constituir-se uma estratégia para apresentar as crianças temáticas diversas. No contexto das comunidades quilombolas, o contato das crianças com textos que abordam a temática ancestralidade africana, vem sendo frequente. Dito isto, a pesquisa teve como objetivo geral, compreender como o reconhecimento e afirmação da ancestralidade africana é representada na literatura infantojuvenil, em especial nos livros O pequeno príncipe e O pequeno príncipe preto, na perspectiva da construção identitária das crianças quilombolas. A pesquisa caracterizou-se como descritiva, quanto aos objetivos; documental no que se refere aos procedimentos técnicos e qualitativa quanto a abordagem. Para análise, recorreu-se a análise de conteúdo, a partir das categorias de análise – ancestralidade/troca de saberes entre gerações; identidade negra e etnocentrismo. Os resultados revelaram que o título O pequeno príncipe preto, escrito por um brasileiro apresenta trechos que retratam positivamente as categorias de análise. Com isto, conclui-se que a literatura infantojuvenil quando escrita por autores que ao longo de sua trajetória de vida assimilou através de seus ancestrais africanos a cultura destes, seus textos podem contribuir positivamente para o reconhecimento e afirmação da ancestralidade africana e a construção identitária das crianças quilombolas.
