[0] => The representation of the figure of women has evolved in the cultural and social spheres. Awareness campaigns have gained strength in the fight against inequality, materializing in posters. In the present investigation, the representation of the figure of women and the evolution that its discursive and aesthetic transformation has undergone in Spain are studied through a formal and content analysis. The posters of the Instituto de la Mujer de Extremadura are taken as a sample. The study highlights the most representative concepts in terms of composition and design of posters: the search for equality, the fight against gender violence and the development of women. Moreover, it allows knowing the evolution that the message transmitted in the different campaigns has undergone, now materialized in social motivation and the collective rejection of gender violence and promotion of equality.
