                    [0] => Censorship is always present in authoritarian governments and in the Brazilian Military Dictatorship it served as a means of persecution of books. The moral censorship was carried out mainly by the Divisão de Censura de Diversões Públicas and political censorship was carried out after the publication of the books, due to the lack of legal provision. The present work sought to identify and analyze the cases of moral and political censorship in the city of Brasília, based on an exploratory and descriptive research of a qualitative and quantitative nature, with documentary research done in archives, in the materials generated by the repressive organs and with the realization interview and sending questionnaires to people who witnessed or experienced censorship cases. Several cases of seizure of books have been identified, occurring since the beginning of the military regime, with emphasis on the burning of books by firefighters from the Distrito Federal. The repression of books in Brasilia was intense and constant, even physically torturing a local editor.@en
                    [1] => A censura sempre está presente em governos autoritários e na Ditadura Militar brasileira ela serviu como meio de perseguição aos livros. A censura moral era feita, principalmente, pela Divisão de Censura e Diversões Públicas e a censura política realizada após a publicação dos livros, devido à falta de previsão legal. O presente trabalho buscou identificar e analisar os casos de censura moral e política na cidade de Brasília, a partir de uma pesquisa exploratória e descritiva de natureza quali-quantitativa, com pesquisa documental feita em arquivos, nos materiais gerados pelos órgãos repressores e com a realização de entrevista e envio de questionários a pessoas que presenciaram ou vivenciaram casos de censura. Foram identificados vários casos de apreensão de livros, ocorridos desde o início do regime militar, com destaque para a queima de livros por bombeiros do Distrito Federal. A repressão aos livros em Brasília foi intensa e constante, chegando a torturar fisicamente um editor local.@pt
