                    [0] => Various theoretical, practical and methodological discussions are produced on the appraisal in different countries. Germany has a long tradition in the field of archives and has made a notable contribution to appraisal. Despite this, the country produces little literature in other languages ​​reflecting on its experience, which is reflected in the international dissemination of that country´s Archivology. The aim of this paper is to discuss the appraisal within the scope of the Federal Archives of Germany (Bundesarchiv), which is justified by expanding the archival information of a country with a rich production on archives that is not widely disseminated in Brazil. The research is qualitative, exploratory and the methodology used was bibliographic research and the application of a questionnaire. It was found that there are different approaches in the spheres of public administration, which show once again that studying the appraisal function is not a simple task to think about, much less to practice, but that it is essential to know and debate about other forms of carry it out both at different structural / organizational levels and according to different historical contexts.@en
                    [1] => Várias discussões teóricas, práticas e metodológicas são produzidas sobre a avaliação de documentos em diferentes países. A Alemanha tem vasta tradição na área de arquivos e contribuiu de maneira notável em matéria de avaliação. Apesar disso, o país produz pouca literatura em outras línguas refletindo sobre sua experiência, o que se reflete na divulgação internacional da Arquivologia daquele país. Objetiva-se discorrer neste trabalho sobre a avaliação de documentos no âmbito dos Arquivos Federais da Alemanha (Bundesarchiv), que se justifica por ampliar informações arquivísticas de um país com uma rica produção sobre arquivos pouco difundida no Brasil. A pesquisa é qualitativa, de caráter exploratório e a metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa bibliográfica e a aplicação de questionário. Constatou-se a existência de diferentes abordagens nas esferas da administração pública, que mostram mais uma vez que estudar a função avaliação não é uma tarefa simples de se pensar, muito menos de se praticar, mas que é fundamental conhecer e debater sobre outras formas de executá-la tanto em diferentes níveis estruturais/organizacionais como em função dos diferentes contextos históricos.@pt
