                    [0] => Information Science is a scientific field, a relational space composed by two or more agents and/or institutions, which presents singularities, as it provides elements that can be employed to interpret a certain reality. This research has as general objective to evaluate, through Pierre Bourdieu´s Sociology, especially scientific capital of the objectified type and scientific capital of the pure type, the scientific production on "Information Management" and "Knowledge Management" related to the articles that were published by the researchers and indexed in the Information Science Database. As methodological procedures, to identify the Research Elite, a total of 177 articles were analyzed and 337 researchers were identified. Extracting the square root of this value, the result is a total of 18.3 researchers, who published between 3 and 17 studies, in a total of 20 researchers. The Research Front was determined from the articles with no self-quotation, summing up to 74 articles. In this set of articles, 1910 references were presented and 2002 quoted researchers were verified. Then, the same criteria applied to determine the Research Elite was employed, resulting in a total of 44.7 researchers, who received between 5 and 54 quotes, summing up to 55 researchers. As a result, it was identified that some of the researchers present in the Research Elite remained present in the Research Front. Finally, it is important to highlight that scientific articles are elaborated from an object of study inserted in a certain relational space.@en
                    [1] => A Ciência da Informação é um campo científico, um espaço relacional composto por dois ou mais agentes e/ou instituições, que apresenta singularidades, ou seja, disponibiliza elementos que podem ser utilizados para interpretar determinada realidade. Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo geral avaliar, por meio da Sociologia de Pierre Bourdieu, especialmente o capital científico do tipo objetivado e capital científico do tipo puro, a produção científica sobre “Gestão da Informação” e “Gestão do Conhecimento” relativa aos artigos publicados pelos pesquisadores e indexados na Base de Dados em Ciência da Informação. Como procedimentos metodológicos, para identificação da Elite de Pesquisa, trabalhou-se com 177 artigos e identificaram-se 337 pesquisadores. Extraída a raiz quadrada desse valor, resultou um total de 18,3 pesquisadores que publicaram entre 3 e 17 pesquisas, num total de 20 pesquisadores. A Frente de Pesquisa foi determinada a partir dos artigos sem autocitação, totalizando 74 artigos. Nesse conjunto de artigos, apresentaram-se 1.910 referências e verificaram-se 2.002 pesquisadores citados. Em seguida, utilizou-se o mesmo critério aplicado para determinar a Elite de Pesquisa, resultando um total de 44,7 pesquisadores, que receberam entre 5 e 54 citações, totalizando 55 pesquisadores. Como resultados, identificou-se que alguns dos pesquisadores presentes na Elite de Pesquisa se mantiveram presentes na Frente de Pesquisa. Nas considerações finais, é importante destacar que os artigos científicos são elaborados a partir de um objeto de estudo inserido em um determinado espaço relacional.@pt
